What the plugins process

TransCraft Copilot runs inside Trados Studio. When you invoke AI Polish, AI QA, or AI TM Cleaner, the plugin may process source text, target text, selected project context, terminology hints, translation memory snippets, style guidance, and user prompts needed for that action.

Model provider data flow

The product uses a bring-your-own-key model. AI requests are sent to the model provider configured by the user, such as an OpenAI-compatible endpoint or another provider selected in the plugin settings. Users should review the provider terms that apply to their configured endpoint.

License and payment data

The license server stores order email, plan, payment status, license status, masked license identifiers, device fingerprints in hashed form, activation timestamps, referral metadata, and security events needed to provide licensing, abuse prevention, and support.

Local storage

Plugin settings, logs, reports, usage counters, and diagnostic packages are stored locally under the user profile. API keys and license keys are protected before being written to local configuration where supported.

Payment processors

Website checkout is processed by Paddle. Paddle may act as merchant of record and handle payment, tax, invoicing, chargeback, and fraud-prevention data for checkout orders. TransCraft receives the order and license data needed to fulfill the purchase.

Retention and deletion

Order and license records are retained while a license is active and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting, fraud-prevention, refund, tax, and support purposes. You may request deletion of support records, subject to records we must keep for legal, tax, security, or transaction integrity reasons.
